IMD Weather Update Tomorrow Rain Snowfall Alert Know The Latest Forecast


IMD Alert: The severe winter which was being experienced in many states of North India has now gone. People have started making up their mind to pack the quilts. There has been a change in the temperature due to sunshine during the day. However, rains also caused problems in many states. So the Meteorological Department has predicted that in the coming days a new season of rain and snowfall may start in North India.

According to the Meteorological Department, a new Western Disturbance is going to knock in North West India from 28 January. Because of this, there can be a change in the weather. There are indications of heavy rain and snowfall in the western Himalayan region from 29 to 30 January. Apart from this, light to moderate rains may occur over the plains of North India on both the days.

How will the weather be in the coming days?

The national capital witnessed a foggy morning on Thursday and the minimum temperature was recorded at 12.8 degrees Celsius, four notches above normal. According to the bulletin of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature is likely to be around 19 degree Celsius. The humidity level in the air at 8.30 am was 95 percent. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data, Delhi recorded an air quality index (AQI) of 278 at 9.30 am.

Snowfall continued in many parts of Kashmir, while the minimum temperature increased due to cloud cover in the valley. The officials of the Meteorological Department gave this information on Thursday. However, the minimum temperature remained below zero in Gulmarg. Light to moderate snowfall was recorded at many places in Kashmir, especially in the southern districts.

The weather office has forecast that it is likely to increase by evening, while the weather is expected to remain dry on Friday. Due to snowfall and cloudy sky, the minimum temperature has increased in most places of the valley. Officials said the minimum temperature in Srinagar was recorded at 1.2 degree Celsius, which is 0.0 degree higher than earlier.
